TO STRIVE, TO SEEK, TO FIND.        ½” thick corten steel and ¼” thick 6000 series aircraft grade aluminum    22’x20’x20’      2010    This substantial sculpture standing at 22’ tall is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Ferris State University. The sculpture has a cut in content of words and short statements that define the philosophy of this state university. This cut narrative design stands as an example of the enhanced content my sculptures can present beyond the formal shape and order of the defined figure forms. The cast shadows this design of sculpture creates are as dramatic as the actual sculpture is.
